What is HWDC?
Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts is the home of the Heather Wayne Dance Company (H.W.D.C.) a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This award-winning competitive dance team trains under the industries most renowned choreographers and dancers. Heather Wayne Dance Company enjoys performing for their community in addition to Regional and National competitions.
Auditions
What: Auditions for the Award Winning HWDC company
When: Sunday May 19th 2:00pm-6:00pm
Where: Main Campus : 5370 Thompson Mill Road, Hoschton Ga 30548
Who: We welcome All Students Ages 7yrs and Up, Intermediate to Advanced Levels
HWDC is Looking for Students who aspire to Train and Learn Dance at an accelerated level and be a member of a Competitive TEAM.
HWDC is an Intermediate, Advanced and Pre-Professional Level Dance TEAM.
Dance training and experience is required.
Expectations:
* HWDC travels to 4 Competitions and Workshops each year in our Regional Area,
(Atlanta, North Metro Atlanta, Greenville SC, Florida, Alabama etc)
* Summer will be a Nationals Competition Year or a HWDC Dance Experience.
*Summer HWDC will be performing with Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship on the Wonder of the Seas.
* Dance Experience means we will be performing on a Cruise or New York or Disney.
* All HWDC Members must attend HWPA weekly training classes Monday - Thursday.
*All HWDC Members attend the HWPA Dancers Workshop and Master Classes with Guest Instructors and Choreographers.
* HWDC Rehearsals are usually on the weekends Saturday and Sundays and some weekday rehearsals.

Who: For all Parents and Dancers who wish to learn more and ask questions about HWDC and
Spotlight and Dance Team Competitive Programs.
HWDC Audition Prep Class: FREE to all Dancers who attend.

Class with Q and A with HWDC Dancers 8:00-9:00 pm
Where: HWPA RED Studio 5370 Thompson Mill Road Hoschton GA 30548
Who: All Dancers and Students ages 7yrs and up who would like additional information and
dance training to prepare them for HWDC Auditions.
Come take class with HWPA and get to know Instructors and other dancers in the studio. You will also learn the process of auditioning and what will be expected at the HWDC Auditions.
How:
1. Register by filling out the HWDC Audition Google Form at HWDC Auditions Page.
2. Print and Read the HWDC 2024-2025 Audition Packet.
Show up to the Auditions, excited and ready to dance. You will have lots of fun meeting new dance friends who love dance just like you.

So You Think You Can Run 5K Fun Run
When: Around (September 21, 2024)

Where: Aqualand Marina in Flowery Branch Ga.
This event is for the entire family to attend. There is a 1 mile Fun Run for kids and a kids corner, so adults can run while their kids have a great time playing. There is also vendors to shop with.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Heather Wayne Dance Company is pleased to offer limited scholarships to students with financial needs and an aptitude for dance. To be eligible for this scholarship, please have the application completed and returned by June, 15th 2024
