ABOUT ME

Leah is an alumni of Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts and Heather Wayne’s Dance Company and was one of Heather’s first students when opening her studio.

After high school graduation she attended Southern Union State Community College on a full tuition dance scholarship to then transfer to the University of Alabama as a dance and marketing major.

After graduation, Leah continued to teach dance at a studio in Alabama to then find herself back in her hometown of Flowery Branch, GA. She then taught as an adjunct at Brenau University teaching tap and jazz. During this time she obtained her masters in business administration. During this same time, she began teaching at HWPA teaching tap, jazz, dance team and working with the company.

She is going into her 5th year teaching at HWPA. Outside of HWPA, she is a dance teacher at Buford High School and be upper levels tap and jazz this year.
