Originally, from Atlanta, Georgia, Ashley trained and competed in all forms of dance. After high school, she graduated Cum Laude at Troy University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.

One of Ashley’s most memorable accomplishments while being at Troy was performing a work by Kyle Abraham alongside A.I.M. dancers and fellow Troy students.

She also got the chance to choreograph and perform at the DAP Festival in Pietrasanta, Italy.

After graduating, Ashley was invited to Jacob’s Pillow alongside
twenty-three other men and women from around the world.

There, she performed Chet Walker’s new Show on Jack Cole. Ashley then moved to New York where she performed with Denman Theatre & Dance Co. on their new work, The Hoofer’s Project and CPDance.

She performed in two RAW shows, both in DC and in New York. Ashley also taught dance through Manhattan Youth at the American Sign Language School in Manhattan.

She is beyond excited to continue teaching at Heather Wayne’s!
